As I mentioned in a previous blog posts, I can find designing isn’t always straightforward and inspiration doesn’t always come when you want it to…

I have found recently that working from stones helps to encourage ideas. I buy stones in and then explore shape and form around them which I find often leads to designs more in keeping with your brand aesthetic.

Sometimes it is hard to visualise a piece before you know what the stone or centrepiece looks like. You can also do this with sea glass too…I have found that using pieces of glass can help get the creative juices flowing…and you can always swap the glass out for a gemstone later on!
